Market Ends in Red on Tuesday Followed by Big Gain on Monday

Stock markets failed to continue the green line on Tuesday what they caught on Monday. SENSEX was closed down by 176.27 points and NIFTY closed down by 52.45 points and hence, the market ends in red.

There was a major gain on Monday after long bleeding and it was up by around 2% in both the exchanges. But the same could not be maintained on Tuesday and even it was not closed in green. Amid the pressure due to domestic factors, both the indices remained in pressure whole the day. However, a majority of sectoral indices ended up in a green, some sectors ended in red also.

IT and Tech shares shined on Tuesday on Dalal Street. 3i Infotech, Firstsource Solutions, Hexaware Technologies etc dragged the IT sector up by 1.71%. Similar activity was seen in Tech shares where Just Dial, Reliance Communications, PVR ltd etc dragged the sector up by 1.66%

There was a fall in the Energy sector were Bharat Petroleum, Gujarat Gas, Hindustan Petroleum etc dragged this sector down by 2.73%. Another sector was Oil Gas where the same pressure could be seen. Here, Reliance Industries, Indian Oil etc top loser who dragged this sector down by 1.70%.

Now the market will wait until the morning of Wednesday to see more actions on Dalal street.
