DSP S&P BSE Sensex ETF – NFO Dates, Scheme Features, Asset Allocation

The DSP S&P BSE Sensex ETF is an open ended scheme replicating/ tracking S&P BSE Sensex index. It invests in all the stocks of the S&P BSE Sensex index in the same proportion as that of the index. 

The subscription period for the DSP S&P BSE Sensex ETF NFO began on July 17th, 2023, and will end on July 21st, 2023. Within five Business Days following the date of allotment, the Schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase. Currently, there are no plans/options available under the Scheme.

The Scheme seeks to provide returns that, before expenses, correspond to the total return of the underlying index (S&P BSE Sensex Index), subject to tracking error.

DSP S&P BSE Sensex ETF NFO – Who Can Invest?

Investors that want to achieve these goals should consider this product:

  • Long-term growth of one’s investment capital.
  • Investment in equity and equity related securities covered by S&P BSE Sensex Index, subject to tracking error.

How Will the Scheme Allocate Its Asset

  • 95-100% in Equity and Equity Related Securities of companies constituting S&P BSE Sensex Index, the underlying Index.
  • 0-5% in Cash and Cash Equivalents.

Where Will the Scheme Invest?

The corpus of the Scheme will invest in securities which are constituents of S&P BSE Sensex Index and in Cash and Cash Equivalents.

The corpus of the Scheme will be invested in various types of securities (including but not limited to) such as:

  • Equity and Equity related securities of companies constituting S&P BSE Sensex Index.
  • Stock futures / index futures and such other permitted derivative instruments only for portfolio rebalancing.
  • Cash and Cash Equivalents.
  • Derivatives only for portfolio balancing.
